Extraordinary Production Of Our Aloe Products
Natural Organic Center uses every means possible to ensure the purest, most consistent Aloe products. All of Organic Center products are made from the Aloe barbadensis species. Aloe Vera barbadensis can grow up to 100 cm height, although most specimens are 30 to 60 cm in height. It has thick leaves that grow in a rosette shape. The parenchyma cells of the leaves contain large quantities of pulp. The fleshy leaves with serrated edges that arise from a central base and grow to nearly 30 – 50 cm long have 10 cm width at the base. Our Aloe Vera is harvested every 6-8 weeks by removing 3-4 leaves at the base of the plant. Our large exclusive supply of Aloe plants allows the hand selection of only the freshest Aloe Vera leave
Biologically active chemical constituents of Aloe vera leaves
The gel contains 98.5 % water having pH of 4.5 and also There are over 200 constituents in Aloe vera, the single most important constituent being the polysaccharides. polysaccharides such as Glucomannan, Acemannan etc., in active form in the leaves of Aloe vera. Glucomannan is agood moisturizer and mainly used in many cosmetics products .whereas Acemannan, the major carbohydrate fraction in the gel, is a water-soluble long chain mannose polymer which accelerates wound healing, modulates immune function and antiviral effects.
Processing parameters & Preserving Aloe’s Natural Benefits
Time, temperature and sanitation (TTS) are necessary to preserve these biological activities.
The TTS Aloe Process not only preserves the natural biological activities of Aloe vera but also
enhances the physical stability of the finished products.
Leaves show losses of biological activity beginning at six hours following harvest when the leaves are stored at ambient temperature. Most biological activities are completely lost after 24 hours at ambient temperatures. This biological activity degrades rapidly after harvest unless the Aloe vera is stabilized within two hours. Processing Aloe within this Critical 2-hour Window is the BEST WAY to ensure that the product is preserved at its peak. Organic Center is the BEST Aloe concentrate manufacturer with this capability.
Product preparations from Aloe vera
Aloe vera is an industrial crop and in the food industry it has been utilized for the preparation
of health food drinks, beverages like tea, milk, ice-cream and Aloe vera gel also finds application in cosmetic and toiletry industry for the preparation of creams, lotions, soaps, shampoos and facial cleaners.
Carefully Hand Picked & Filleted
Once picked, most Aloe is filleted, not squeezed, to remove the inner gel [.5% Aloe Vera solids]. The fillet is carefully removed to minimize disruption of the Aloin layer. Then the product is further processed to remove the pulp and fiber. The product is pasteurized to maintain efficacy. Finally, the gel is filtered and stabilized through a specially designed proprietary process to maintain color and is preserved using globally recognized food grade preservatives.
Other leaves are left whole. The whole leaf is 1% Aloe Vera solids and consists of the entire leaf including the rind and internal portions of the plant. The whole leaf process requires you to cut off both ends and each side of the leaf. Our proprietary process allows us to produce whole leaf concentrate with no residual aloin.
NATURKEY System Processing
Aloe vera center plantation and processing plant in Iran, Aloe Vera is picked and processed on-site and on-time–within the Critical 2-hour. Our NATURKEY System Processing is based on irrefutable AND irreversible realities in nature. Unlike other manufacturers who must purchase their Aloe Vera from many different sources and truck it to distant manufacturing plants, Aloe Vera center is processed into gel at the same site as our fields in our state-of-the-art processing facility. The raw gel is then concentrated from its natural state of 1X or 0.5% Aloe solids to 10X or 4.6% – 20X or 9.2%- 40X or 20% Aloe solids utilizing heat-free reverse osmosis to produce a concentrate which saves on shipping and handling. The Aloe is then shipped under refrigeration to our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant.
aloe vera leaf juice is obtained by grinding or macerating the entire aloe vera leaf followed by purification to remove the phenolic compounds found in the latex. This purification step is usually accomplished via activated carbon filtration in a process known as decolorization
Aloe vera leaf processing using the entire leaf. It usually involves an activated carbon purification step, a process known as decolorization, to remove pigments and anthraquinoid constituents, in particular aloin A and B that are phenolic constituents from the leaf latex
